Bitcoin is a decentralized cryptocurrency that enables fast transactions. It was first outlined in a 2008 whitepaper by a person or group of persons. Bitcoin co-founder named “Satoshi Nakamoto”. It was released in January 2009, only a few months later. Bitcoin is a peer-to-peer internet money, which means that all transactions take place between equal, independent network participants without the need for a middleman to allow or facilitate them.
